Open the iPhone Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Screen Owl → Cancel Subscription. Or in Screen Owl go to Settings → Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.

Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.

Sign in with the same Apple ID you bought with. In Screen Owl open Settings → Restore purchases (also on the subscription screen). Then sign in with Apple using the same account as before.

In Screen Owl open Settings → Delete account and confirm with Apple. This deletes your account and its server data, disconnects Sign in with Apple and removes your subscription record at RevenueCat. Your App Store subscription keeps running until you cancel it (see above). To also remove analytics data, email us. Details: Privacy Policy.

Screen Owl uses Apple's Screen Time to block the apps you pick. iOS asks once for permission (Face ID or passcode). The apps you choose stay on your iPhone as private tokens – we can't see which apps they are or how long you use them.

If blocking stops working: open iPhone Settings → Screen Time → check that Screen Owl is allowed under Apps with Screen Time Access, then open Screen Owl again. Screen Time permission needs iOS 16 or later.

Remove apps in Screen Owl under Settings → Guarded apps, or turn off Screen Owl's access in iPhone Settings → Screen Time. Deleting the app also removes all its blocks.

Only when you ask to unlock an app: your message, the names of your app groups, your goals, triggers, "why", strictness and whether focus, work or sleep mode is active. It's sent to our server and to TypeSafe, the AI service that makes the decision. You can turn this off in Settings → AI data sharing.
